Brighton Beer Dispensary

A warm and welcoming pub with an extensive range of keg and cask

No surprise here: Brighton Beer Dispensary is a dispensary for, yes, beer (as well as some other beverages). And as you might expect there is an extensive and impressive range of keg and cask listed on the chalkboard that takes pride of place on the back wall.

Another board by the bar displays a calendar packed full with brewer takeovers and guest ale arrivals, so there are lots of specialist beery events to tempt you in as well.

The main space isn’t large and the vibe has a classic alehouse vibe, pumps and taps along the back wall behind a fairly small polished bar. There are a few booths and tables, more in the conservatory space through the back, but on busy nights it fills up quickly and groups of four or more will struggle to find a table.

The bar staff we met are bona fide experts, and more than happy to share their expansive knowledge (and offer tasters). You can find yourself brushing up on your beer knowledge while you get adventurous.

The vibe is warm and welcoming for patrons of all ages at Brighton Beer Dispensary, and if you divert from the Lanes or Western Road strip, the beer options should keep you happy here all night.
