Easy Tiger Brighton
A buzzing community pub that’s of a stylish stripe
The people behind The Pond have revitalised what was once a thriving pub for locals that had fallen on difficult times.
The feel is neat and comfortable, dark walls are lit ambiently with retro filament bulbs and adorned with quirky touches that break up the soft dusky atmosphere wtih stylish flourishes that play to the tiger theme. The rear garden offers a good communal outdoor option, as The Hampton before it always did.
On the bar expect to find Pondwater, a thoroughly sessionable Pale made by Arundel Brewery exclusively for the The Pond and now here as well. There are lagers, cask and other keg options but prices on the whole seem a little expensive.
The Indian Street Food Kitchen is a unique touch in Brighton, and trying this soon after launch we found the flavours to be excellent, though portions a little smaller than hoped.
Oh, and while the walls of Easy Tiger Brighton mainly feature cats, dogs are very welcome.
