Good Companions Brighton
A great place for groups, with loads of beer options
Out front of the Good Companions Brighton the long social benches are the perfect place to catch the afternoon sun and watch the world go by. Out back, sheltered and heated booths line the edges of the garden and are a favourite in the winter months.
Inside this spacious and cosy pub a variety of high and low seating and cushioned wall benches surround a big central bar. On offer is a generous selection of five rotated casks pumps as well as various craft keg, lager and cider taps.
The pub caters perfectly for group gatherings; there’s a small snug area to the left, a main bar area with a mixture of high and low seating including bar stools, plus another raised space for larger parties towards the back.
Whether busy or quiet Good Companions feels enlivening. The bar staff are chatty and pleasant, and the music choices add to the vibrant atmosphere.
There’s an excellent selection of good value pub fare including great burgers with daytime BOGOF offers, Sunday roasts and veggie options.
Upstairs the function room (capacity 80) has a small private bar and lends itself to all manner of celebrations, meetings and theatre rehearsals.
