Open House Brighton
Family friendly, and a garden to lose yourself in for hours
Run by Laine Pub Co, Open House Brighton offers three large homely rooms, cosily lit, tastefully decorated and a just a tad eccentric throughout. For instance the main bar area features a huge street-lamp style chandelier which presides spectacularly over the main serving area.
There are Brighton-esque quirks that combine eclectic modern art with comfy leather seating and dusty old books. The bedecked tropical wilderness that is the garden, with its various heated ‘pods’, make it accessible all year round.
Beer options include cask, keg and big-brand names, with lots of Laine’s Brewery favourites included.
Open House is dog friendly and child friendly (until 8.30pm), and there’s ample space for families and groups to enjoy a meal together in comfort.
Food is definitely a key focus at Open House Brighton, with a range of snacks, sandwiches, burgers and pubby mains – including vegan and gluten-free options.
