The Font Brighton

Once a chapel, now a mecca for weekend drinking

The big semi-circular bar of The Font Brighton is located front and centre of thisbig circular area, located under the beautiful original glass dome that hovers above.

The layout is open plan with loads of room and plenty of seating or dancing space around. This makes the city-centre spot an ideal location for big groups to congregate on a night out, and is popular with the pre-club crowd and TV sport spectators.

Upstairs, the chapel style tiered seating offers a unique view of a big projector screen above the bar that shows a variety of big sporting fixtures and other TV events.

The beer range is rather uninspiring and heavy on the big lager brands, so craft fans will want to avoid. However there are deals a-plenty for those out to party, with cocktails, bubbly, shots and spirits to sink while DJs belt out pop, dance and house music into the wee hours.

The food menu at The Font Brighton is focused on cheap-and-cheerful pub grub, with mains of steaks, burgers and roasts available if you’re peckish.
