Unbarred Taproom Brighton
A modern and popular taproom serving some of Brighton’s freshest creations
UnBarred Brewery and Taproom in Brighton occupies a hidden-away refurbished backstreet warehouse just off Preston Circus, just five minutes from Brighton Station, so no excuses for not giving it a look.
The taproom is a clean, modern space that feels spacious as well as functional. You need only stretch out your hand to touch the tanks that produce the ale you’re drinking.
Outside there’s a courtyard and the few covered benches with overhead heat lamps that make this a useable communal space all year round. In the summer the big French windows are thrown wide open. Guest food stalls regularly pop up here on weekends.
Beer wise you can expect a whole range of UnBarred’s creative, boldly flavoured and sessionable brews. They very much focus on keg, and you won’t get it fresher anywhere else. Take-out cans are also available from the well-stocked fridge.
The brewers themselves are around on ‘Meet the Brewer’ Wednesdays to chat to patrons, so come down to the Brewery and Taproom and get your geek on with the creators themselves.
